Club History
In November 2003, three Indianapolis Local 416 firefighters formed the Rolling Inferno M.C. so public safety motorcycle enthusiasts could promote the brotherhood of firefighters and to support charities that care for children suffering from burn injuries.
Shortly after the formation of the club, several Firefighters from the Region met members of R.I.M.C. at the Harley Davidson 100th Anniversary celebration in Milwaukee. Impressed by the passion and ideals that the Indianapolis Rolling Inferno members had, both groups rode together frequently. A friendship was formed and the idea was born to form the second chapter of the R.I.M.C.
In May of 2005, the 2nd chapter of the R.I.M.C. was officially formed by firefighter, Andy "Buster" Himan. The chapter would be referred to as “The Region” Firefighters, to encompass all of the proud, hard working public safety personnel of Northwest Indiana. “The Region” is a (not-for-profit) organization dedicated to raise money primarily for the Hoosier Burn Camp. The Hoosier Burn Camp offers a life-enriching, unforgettable summer camp experience for young men and women who have experienced injuries from burns.
“The Region” Firefighters, like our Indianapolis brothers, believe whole-heartedly in the principles: FTM-PTB, KTF, EGH, DTRT, and RFB
If you enjoy riding and you believe in the principles listed, “The Region” Firefighters, Rolling Inferno M.C. would love to have you as a brother or sister. If you don't know these principles, we would be happy to share them with you.
